Patricia Ann Tucker

In loving memory of PATRICIA ANN TUCKER, born on August 16, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland. Patricia was the daughter of the late Katherine Forbes Woolford and William Forbes. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, William W. Tucker of 64 years. Patricia was a dedicated wife and mother always putting her family first. She is the eldest of six and is preceded in death by her brothers William and Herman and sister Catherine. She is survived by her siblings Sandra McCrory and Malcolm Forbes. Patricia received her education in the Baltimore City Schools System attending Garrison Junior High and Eastern High School. She attended St. John A.M.E. Lutheran Church while growing up in Baltimore. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, and jazz. While in high school, Patricia participated in two contests, “You’re a Sweetheart” and “Miss Dual Filter Tareyton” beauty contest. She won “You’re a Sweetheart” contest out of four hundred contestants and won third place in Miss Dual Filter Tareyton” beauty contest. After leaving school, she held several positions in customer service over the years, with her final employer being Sears & Company from which she retired with twenty plus years of service. On February 25, 1961, she married the love of her life, William W. Tucker. Their union produced three children: Michael Tucker (Valerie) of Joppatowne, Maryland; Cathleen and Steven Tucker of Owings Mills, Maryland. They were blessed with six grandchildren: Tiffani, Tierra, Bria, Steven Jr., Morgan, and Sean; ten great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Patricia was a devoted mother, deeply cherished by her family and friends. She provided unwavering support and encouragement, which inspired those closest to her to pursue their dreams and strive for greatness. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were evident in every interaction, reflecting a compassionate spirit that touched the lives of everyone she encountered. One of Patricia’s favorite pastimes was bird watching; she found peace in listening to their sounds. She also delighted in baking, preparing beloved desserts such as cheesecake and pound cake for her family. Music brought her joy, whether she was listening or dancing. Throughout the years, Patricia enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and the beach remained her favorite destination. The sun set for the final time on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, for Patricia a.k.a. Mom, Mimi, and Pat. She will be missed greatly and forever remembered!!!
